Overview
This project combines virtual reality, live motion capture, real-time rendered multiplayer environments, virtual cameras, and video production facilities equipped with an LED volume, all brought together to bring to life our own vision of a digital fashion studio remotely accessible from anywhere in the world and promote the potential of such technologies for content production.

Scope of Work and Skills
I worked on the ideation of this project alongside the FIA and pitched it internally at Yahoo! to gather approval for the necessary production resources. Once production started, I looked after the necessary multiplayer VR setup in Unreal Engine using blueprints, integration of environments, implementation of a weather system created from scratch (rain and water shaders), dynamic loading of levels, as well as the creation of custom controls to dynamically change environment, weather, time-of-day, avatar, and garments. Other technical tasks involved helping with setup of the equipment, testing the motion capture pipeline (using Xsens mocap suits), video recording, and setting up a virtual camera.
Non-technical tasks included, project managing, assisting with drafting the initial script (I based it on the first scene from Who Framed Roger Rabbit), then reworked it alongside the FIA and the hired producer/director, virtual camera operation (using my personal virtual camera rig), providing feedback during video editing, and working with the marketing team to ensure the final content was on brand before sharing across channels.
